Lung Vital Capacity

The volume of human lungs is very limited so only to breathe the air limited lung capacity. Lung volume of each human being varies according to the size of the lungs, strength, and how breathing. If we breathe normally, the air we breathe and exhaled as many as 0.5 liters. The volume of air is called air breathing or tidal air.

If after normal breathing, the air from the outside we can still breathe deep into the lungs, the air so-called complementary air. Complementary air volume is 1.5 liters. Likewise, if after normal breathing turns out we can still remove the air from the lungs by exhaling with a vengeance, then the air is removed is called a supplementary air. Supplementary air volume is 1 liter.

At the moment we breathed a vengeance, in the lungs still there as much as 1 liter of air. The air so-called residual air or residual air. If we breathe deeply and blew amain, then the volume of air entering and exit adasebanyak 3.5 to 4 liters. The volume of air as much as it is called the vital capacity of lungs. Lung vital capacity breathing air cover, air, complementary, and there are supplementary air. Power maximum tamping the lungs (total lung kapisitas) there were approximately 5 liters. Total capacity of the lung include lung vital capacity plus residual air.
